“Inspired by dream, responsible for the future”
training a Ukrainian-Lithuanian team of young social entrepreneurs – promoters of European values among youth involved in business
Project goal is of the three-level type: 1) to motivate young Ukrainians and Lithuanians to be active in civic society through involving into social entrepreneurship and promoting European values among youth involved in business; 2) to show youth that the route from an idea does not finish by gaining profit but continues towards socially responsible entrepreneurship; 3) to build foundation for future business cooperation between Ukraine and Lithuania based on young social entrepreneurs’ common vision of European values.
Project objectives reflecting the training course programme:
- Сto create a friendship environment for English language communication and build a bicultural team of future social entrepreneurs-soul-mates.
- to exchange facts, cases, experience, conditions and peculiarities of entrepreneurship in Ukraine and Lithuania for finding opportunities of cooperation.
- to learn differences between usual business and social entrepreneurship having specific features.
- to get acquainted with the best world practices of social entrepreneurship.
- to understand the importance of basic social European values and learn how to integrate them into social entrepreneurship.
- to develop a profile of a young social entrepreneur who can promote European values among youth involved in business.
- to study the real case of multiculturalism and social inclusion: refugees and internally displaced persons for learning social and economic problems in Europe and finding the place of social entrepreneurship in the European business environment.
- to master divergent, convergent and critical thinking as well as understand their application in social entrepreneurship.
- to review and refresh current methods of developing projects of social entrepreneurship.
- to learn basics of fundraising in order to receive financial resources for social entrepreneurship.
